Cure Alzheimer's Fund was established to fund targeted research with the highest probability of slowing, stopping or reversing Alzheimer's disease through venture based philanthropy. All organizational expenses are paid for by the Founders and Board, allowing all other contributions to be applied directly to Alzheimer's Disease research. Our foundational research is focused on identifying all the genes and gene mutations that are linked to Alzheimer's Disease. We can then use this genetic information to reliably predict, early in life, those at greatest risk for the disease (with legal safeguards and genetic and psychological counseling). Our foundational research projects include: Alzheimer's Genome Project, Alzheimer's Genome Map, Alzheimer's Brain-Genetic Study, Alzheimer's Clinical-Genetic Study, Alzheimer's Gene Database, MicroRNA's and APP, and Alzheimer's Gene Discovery Project.

All of our designs are made of sterling silver and 14k gold filled components. Some of the pendants are plated in 14k gold. All of our jewelry is hypoallergenic, so you won’t find any nickel, copper or lead here!

Everything is created for you by me using unique cell image pendants paired with semi-precious stones, sterling silver & 14k gold filled metals and jewelry tools, like pliers & even a torch for my soldered pieces. Here’s how the process works:
I use cell images to create my pendants in 2 different ways. For the first, I select an interesting portion of the image, cut it out and set it in a bezel under resin. In the second process, I use the same cell image and digitally draw on top of it with special software to create a 3D model that is then cast in metal. Once I have the castings or resin image pendants completed, I design and build the pieces around them by adding in semi-precious stones, crystals and chains.

That depends on the piece you purchase. Transparency in non-profits is required by law and allows us to see where their funds are allocated. All of our cell images are common use files sourced from reputable sources such as scientific journals and researchers.
I first started using cell images as the basis of my designs in college. I needed inspiration for a project and stumbled across a microscopic image of the H1N1 virus. I used the disease’s outline to create a brooch that gained rave reviews & I was hooked on this concept.
While I was in college my brother was diagnosed with Lupus- an incredibly painful, auto-immune disease with no known cause or cure.
Shortly after that, my grandpa, who was like a father to me, was diagnosed with stage IV Lung Cancer. He passed away within a month.
I was left feeling empty and powerless, I wanted to heal them, myself and my family. But what could I do- I’m just one person. And then, a light bulb went on; If we all get together, to rally behind this cause, we can start a movement toward positive change for the future. A movement that uses these diseases to take our power back from them and raise money for research toward a cure.
My pieces are more than just jewelry; they’re hope, strength, awareness, charity & cures. 10% of every purchase goes straight to research for cures.

Tips on how to find your wrist size:
1. Find a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist. Make sure it's not too tight but not loose either.
2. Mark the string with a felt tip pen where the ends overlap (you may want help with this!). Remove the string from your wrist and cut it at the mark.
3. Lay the string out flat and measure it with a ruler in inches.
4. Now you have your wrist size! Use the"details" tab on each product page to see if the bracelet you want will fit your wrist.
Most of our styles are made standard at 7", but we're happy to add some extra length, just let us know in the Notes section of your cart.

All of our designs are made of sterling silver and 14k gold filled components. Some of the pendants are plated in 14k gold. All of our jewelry is hypoallergenic, so you won’t find any nickel, copper or lead here!
The one exception to this is the Awareness Hair Pins. These are rhodium plated brass.

I do not have control over how long it takes USPS or UPS to deliver packages. Due to COVID, UPS has stopped guaranteeing delivery dates. USPS has also recently increased the amount of delivery time for first class packages. Please take this into account when choosing your shipping method. That said, I'm happy to help you track a package or get in touch with USPS or UPS to find your shipment, but I cannot be held accountable for any shipping delays as it is out of my control. Under no circumstances will shipping costs paid by the customer be refunded due to carrier delays or other unforeseen issues.

I'm happy to answer any questions you may have about this, but I just do not have answers for all countries :)

To keep your jewelry looking like new store it in a dry, enclosed space. A zipper bag is a great way to keep outside air from tarnishing your jewelry.
Always take your jewelry off before going near water, including swimming, showering or even exercising. Make sure to apply all lotions and perfumes before putting on your jewelry.
For Sterling Silver:
Clean with a dry polishing cloth. Some silver cleaners may be used if a cloth doesn’t work, but always take care not to submerge stones.
For 14k Gold Filled:
Clean with a dry polishing cloth. If a cloth doesn’t work, you can use a mild soap and water combination with a toothbrush to remove tarnish. Take care not to damage any stones.

Each cause has a unique charity partner that is dedicated to finding cures, better treatments, and providing patient education & support for that specific cause. You’ll find information about which charity your donation is going to in the description of each piece. You can read more information on all of our charity partners here.
Transparency in non-profits is required by law and allows us to see where their funds are allocated. We use charity navigator, which is a website that aggregates all the public information charities must provide the public in to an easy to digest charity profile. We use this information to choose the charities that devote most of their funding back to research, programs and support for patients. If you’d like to check it out for yourself, here’s the link: https://www.charitynavigator.org/

Infertility
Baby Quest Foundation
Baby Quest was born from one young woman’s struggles to have a child.
However, her story is far from unique. It is a story shared by one in eight women—most of whom never dreamt that having a baby would be so difficult. With the high costs of assisted reproduction, a solution to infertility is often out of reach, allowing financial need to prevent many from becoming parents.
Baby Quest has grown one grant, one IVF, one new baby at a time. More than anything, our grant program offers hope to many who feel lost. Only with community support can we continue to offer this hope to more recipients each grant cycle.
