Meet The Makers Tour at Las Vegas Market

I have some exciting news to share with you, Change Makers! Recently, I got the chance to exhibit my Revive Jewelry designs at the Las Vegas Market. It’s an event where designers and buyers from so many different markets come together and learn more about each other.

I received a special opportunity to show an exclusive, behind-the-scenes peek at my design process during the “Meet the Makers—Experience the Creativity” tour. Six other handmade artisans and I talked to retailers about how we create our unique works and gave demonstrations. This was a unique glance at my craft that I’ve only otherwise explained to you in my blog.

Experience the Tour

I had so much fun throughout the entire Las Vegas Market and especially during the “Meet the Makers” tour.

~ I told people about how I felt inspired to start Revive Jewelry after my brother’s Lupus diagnosis and my grandpa’s heartbreaking lung cancer journey.

~ I told them about how I wanted to find a way to help other people take their power back from these devastating diseases by reminding them of the supportive community around them, and raising money for scientific research and disease awareness.

~ I showed them how I get my ideas for each piece by looking at an image of a cell affected by a particular disorder.

~ Then, I created a piece right there in front of them so they could see the handicraft that goes into each item of Revive Jewelry.

It was amazing to be able to connect with new people & explain that proceeds from each of my necklace, earring, bracelet and ring designs all go to charities fighting for a cure.
